I get that it's a shame Joachim did not feel he had time to prepare his children but the original idea (loosing the HH prince(ss) of Denmark when you turn 25 years old) was stupid.
For Henrik and Athina the transition may have been rough but in the years to come it will be easier and in time they will be grateful to their grandmother for giving them the freedom that comes with being a count or countess of Monpezat instead of being a prince or princess of Denmark. They unlike their two older halfbrothers get the chance to grow up in relative anonymity and that is very precious.
Nikolai and Felix have both done their parents and family proud in the way they are forging their own way in life. I also remember issues when Nikolai was photographed on a car and the dealer trying to use his Royal status to benefit his business. Joachim's children will have less issues with that now they have a different style and title. Previous Message

Their activities did not bring shame to the Danish Royal House.
Very true. This summer, the press has praised Nikolai for his impeccable conduct, whereas Crown Prince Christian has been criticised for his non-stop partying at different music festivals – even while serving as regent.
