I think thay your assumption is correct. They are knights of the Order of Seraphim from birth, but they don't wear the insignias until they are 18 years old. Previous Message

Are the Star and sash miniatures when presented at the baptism?
I have long wondered about when those infants become entitled or are allowed to wear the insignia of the Order publicly.
Do the children first have to become adults?
