Somehow I will be very surprised if Charles and Camilla attend even though they are very close in age. CXVIG is the more senior, not sure if Charles will be keen. It's a good opportunity for the Wales' to get better acquainted with the 'Continental Cousins' but it may come down to the Edinburghs or perhaps even The Princess Royal. We'll see. Do we know if Charles actually has 'friends' among the continental or even Scandinavian bunch?
If all crowned heads of Europe are invited it will be interesting to see what King Charles III of the UK will do. Will he follow in his mother's footsteps or would he and Camilla attend.
Im hoping they'll invite many royals because it will be one of the few international events we'll have to see multiple tiara's in Europe. It might be a decade or so before the younger generation will start to get married.
Ooops ... you are quite correct, 50th anniversary equals golden jubilee. I don't know where I got diamond from.
The previous jubilees (including 25th) were only with Nordic heads of state, but I suspect there may be more royals invited this time, like the Benelux monarchs.
Thanks Torkel ... but I think you meant to write golden jubilee
Do you expect royal guests from all of Europe or just Scandinavia?
