Did she ever change her church affiliation after marriage to her first cousin, Prince Carl of Denmark? Or did she remain a lifelong Anglican? Are there any religious requirements for the queen consort of a Norwegian king? I believe that the sovereign of Norway must be a Lutheran, which King Haakon VII certainly was.

But it might have been slightly awkward for the country to have a queen who remained a member of the Church of England. While princess of Denmark, it might not have matter much. But Maud unexpectedly became the consort of a king.
