Over the years Queen Margrethe has been interviewed for many books, and two more have been published this week on the occasion of her upcoming golden jubilee. One of them stands out because we only hear the Queen's own voice throughout the book, as the author has edited out all his questions. She tells her memoirs from her earliest childhood to the moment when she ascended the throne. The book has received brilliant reviews and the critics call for a sequel.

The other new book contains interviews not only with the Queen but also with a number of persons close to her, notably King Willem-Alexander, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Victoria.

The first book you mention must be very interesting to read.
