I don't think there would be much doubt that the succession law would have been changed at a later stage, so that Josephine would have replaced her father, Christian af Rosenborg, as Throne Follower in 2013.
If the succession law had not been changed in 1953, Ingolf and Christian would hardly have been allowed to marry Danish commoners - and then Josephine would never have been born
Contrafactual History is always difficult. But would King Christian XI have denied his son the right to marry who he loved after their Norwegian Cousins had paved the way?
