When Prince Carl of Denmark ascended the throne of Norway as Haakon VII, did he renounce his rights to the Danish throne? Of course he would have lost his rights in any case when the succession was restricted to the descendants of Christian X. I ask because it occurred to me that if agnatic succession were still in force in Denmark, King Harald might now be the heir presumptive to King Ingolf (who would probably be using the regnal name Frederik X).
Prince Carl / King Haakon did renounce his rights to the Danish trone for himself and his son, but I don't remember the exact date.
