I imagine the more legitimate press would have contacted the Palace for confirmation, but ran up against a stone wall, so they went ahead and printed it without verification.
: But, would the Danish press publish and
: interview with a person suffering from
: dementia? I suppose the Danish press has an
: ethic code. I suppose that, if the paper
: suspected anything of its kind, it would
: contact the palace to confirm it. I think
: this would be the correct behaviour in such
: a case.
: If the interview is going the be published,
: it means the Prince is not suffering any
: mental problem. My opinion!

: Not only that: the interview to the Danish
: tabloid was accorded a mere 2 days after the
: public announcement by the Royal Court!
: Talking about behaving mean
: If the Prince is really suffering from
: dementia then the Court ought to make that
: perfectly clear to both the public & the
: media as his sole intend seems to be to
: damage the Queen as much as he can, right
