I'm not complaining mind you but when you mentioned dentist, it made we think about the upcoming appt.
And Marene, I don't think people really think about what they say and right now we are sensitive to everything and especially you since you have to be brave around your kids, that would make it extra hard. I have a grandchild that is 11 yrs old and I have to be brave around him...so I know what you are saying.
My hubby is military retired and at times he understands but for the most part he thinks I should just get over it.
I had the 2nd time around a double mastectomy with reconstruction and the reconstruction did not work, so about 6 wks ago I had it redone and have scars from almost to my back, under my armpits to the middle of my chest...but those implants are staying put and I'm thankful they are. I'm not telling you this to make you feel sorry for me, just that you have ever right to be angry...just find a way either by support groups(here as well as in your town) to talk with others that have and are going through what you are.
Hugs & Prayers to you both! Ruby
PS: When I got my 2nd diagnosis I asked the Onc Nurse if anyone close to me had the same thing and she hooked me up with a lady that I can tell anything to...because she knew what I was talking about and understood without saying the pat answers other did that had not went through this....you might call your Onc nurse and ask her for someone.
