I had bilateral mastectomy with recon (implants) about ten years ago. The breasts look fine but I've been suffering from ongoing fatigue and some other symptoms that make me think about having them removed. There's no proof I'm having any issues with the implants and I'm never been concerned, but at this point I just want to feel better so am thinking about it. Question is, I don't really care about having another form of recon and would be happy just to have a flat chest, but am worried that it might be concave or oddly shaped. Has any one else had the experience of having a bilateral and having a flat chest? Not having breasts doesn't bother me at this point, but if I'm wearing t-shirts, etc. I don't want an oddly shaped chest.
Thanks for any insights.
