You guys wanted it, so... I will be at the field every night next week at 6 or so to test bats before each game. We'll put a small sticker on the bat. We are not looking to accuse anybody of anything. Many ASA approved bats are broken in so well that they dont pass the compression standard anymore. Just trying to alleviate any safety issue.

If it fails, you just put it in your bag and try to pull out something that passes .. no questions asked. I will have the sheets with all the official compression ratings for every bat made. I will not test metal or wood bats. They will pass.


I just ask that you guys try to get there early so the game can start on time. Thanks, Steve
