- All coaches have received the league schedule via email, season starts April 7th.
- Schedule is 24 games, each team will play every other team twice at new field formerly known as Latshaw field. (1 double header).
- Players will need to make 10 out of the teams 24 games to be playoff eligible.
- League will be split into A and B flight for playoffs:
A flight - 1st through 5th in the overall standings (tiebreakers are head to head standings, and then runs allowed. In the case 3 teams are tied, the tiebreaker is runs allowed)
B flight - 6th through 10th in the overall standings
Last 3 teams will not make A or B flight but it was discussed that they could play a round robin tournament to determine a C Flight winner.
- Playoff format will be as follows:
First round bye - #1 seed in both the A and B flights
First round - #4 vs #5 seed (Best of 3 series)
Semi-Finals - #2 vs. #3 seed and #1 seed vs. Winner of #4 vs. #5 (Best of 3 series')
Finals - Winner of #2 vs. #3 against Winner of #1 seed vs. Winner of #4 vs. #5 (Best of 3 series)
- Home Run rule remains as 1 per inning
- There will be no mulligans this season. If a team cannot play on their scheduled day they will forfeit that doubleheader. Rosters now have unlimited spots, so teams are able to add as many players as needed (not already on other rosters) in order to field a team.
- If a team folds during the course of the season, players from that team are able to be picked up by other teams in the league. However in order for those players to be playoff eligible, they would need to play 10 games with the team that has picked them up.
I think that covers all of the important items discussed, but if any of the coaches can think of anything I've missed, please add.
