First of all, thank you very much to Kenny and Jimmy for the very kind words. I have so much respect for both of you.

Second - the message board technology may be old, but I keep it because it makes it easy for Heels to post the scores and other announcements he has.

I can make this web site with Word Press and modernize everything including a up to date message board. BUT, I choose not to, because everybody is used to this.

What bothers me is because this is old and out dated, that means people like "Hard Truth" and "Bingo" feel that can just post anonymously and enjoy doing what they do on here. If that makes you happy, then do it.

There are ways this board can be a "Sign in" Board, but then somebody would have to approve every single person that wishes to have a login for this board. I don't have time and Jimmy Cat certainly does not either (he does enough for this league already).

I can make it so that every post must be approved before it is allowed to be displayed, but once again, somebody would have to look at the board every day and approve or disapprove the message. And we do have stupid people that once they post and do not see it appear, feel the need to make the same post 14 more times until they finally realize its not being posted right away.

There are a lot of things to do to make things better. I choose to let things be as they are, because its simple and basically just a Norristown Softball Board where people can post what they want. It comes down to accountability. Most do post their names as they aren't afraid to be held accountable for what they say. Then there are other people that feel they have to hide behind fake names or other stupid shit just to say things on here to entertain themselves.

When you guys use Smittys name to post, its not right. It pisses him off and I don't blame him. And others who enjoy repeating things I say on here for some reason. They don't like when I say "lets talk about it at the meeting for next year" or if I call a player or team "Great" or "Classy".

I have one simple advice to you guys and I most everybody feels the same way. If you read something and don't like or agree with it, just move on instead of mocking or abusing what was said. It's really simple. People post their own personal opinions. And those opinions are neither right or wrong. It is how they feel. And I respect that. What I don't respect is others taking shots at what the guy said.

This board used to be a lot of fun. People would post stuff and have fun with each other. We all knew each other and even the anonymous posters gave themselves away by the way they talked and laughed about it later.

This is an INFORMATIONAL Board for the Norristown Softball League and any other league around here that needs to get information out. There is no need for people just sitting back and just mocking what others say.

I know I have pleaded before to just watch what you say. if you don't like what was said, just ignore it and move on. What you guys do on here by basically mocking what people say make it so that if somebody really has a simple question to ask, they don't really want to post it.

There is no need for anybody in this league to NOT post something because they don't want to be abused on here. And I know you guys say "I didn't say anything bad, just being sarcastic, etc".

I'm sure your parents told you a long time ago, that if you don't have anything nice to say to or about someone, then just don't say it.
