The season will begin approx in mid April and go until Labor Day. Then the rainouts will be played. Then playoffs. No rush as there will be no fall league.
All managers will get their schedules and review them with their players. Each team will have 1 week to pick any dates that their team absolutely can not play due to whatever.
Adjustments will be made and the schedule will stay as it is. If you can not field a team, no postponement, no complaints you are short, you forfeit. This league has gotten out of hand with teams constantly rescheduling games "because they don't have enough people". You have a 20-25 man roster. Find people, play with 9. This is the way it has to be this year. With 10 teams playing and 4 getting a bye each week, we will not have teams calling up to cancel games.
Last year was insane with the amount of games that were cancelled. We will vote at the managers meeting whether thete is a limit of forfeits you can have or not. The managers meeting will be after the ASA State Meeting the first weekend of March.
