Paragon has had the same core 6-9 guys for the last 8 plus years. We have always played the same way every year. We add a guy or two to our roster every season and seem to lose a guy or two. But the core has remained. The unfortunate fact of that is the core has gotten older and older. The days of taking BP and playing tournaments are long gone. We show up opening day with whatever was in our bat bags the last day of the previous season. We are NOT the Paragon of the old days but we still have the heart of them. We played less the .500 ball this season in the B division. We are no longer a A team. And as the manager of Paragon I'm not gonna go out and find new younger A players to replace us "old" guys. We will be back next season with same group the has been Paragon for as long as its been around. The only difference is our infields average age this season was 47, next year?
Congrats to all the B teams this year from top to bottom. Steppys had a hell of a season and I expect them to be back even stronger next year. Franchise has a super talented group and the finals was great. See you all next season.
