Most times when you’re changing your swing because you’re out of home runs, you’re going to make an out because you’re trying to place the ball as opposed to still hitting it hard but hopefully not as far. From what I’ve seen over the years, there aren’t that many guys that are capable of changing their swing and still have as high a success rate with not making outs. If it goes out it goes out but don’t cheat yourself out of a line drive because you’re afraid it may go over the fence. I’d rather those two guys make an out doing what they do best rather than trying to finesse a ball somewhere and changing their swing.
