Unless it's an actual book rule, nothing can really becdisputed. And if you ask any umpire whether he made the right call or the wrong call, he will tell you he made the call as he saw it.
And that's all we can ask of them. We may see the play different, but he his view is the one that counts.
I said this years ago. Each player should have to umpire a game or at least a couple innings before they are allowed to umpire in this league.
I sign up as an umpire every year just for emergencies. But never umpire. You couldn't pay me enough money to put up what they put up with.
Just trying to put this into perspective. Whether we agree with the call or not. The umpire will not change it. So just move on and play the game. At the end of the night, it's only a game and we all go to bed and wake up tomorrow and play the real game we all play .... The game of life.
