-- eligibility requirements for playoffs. We revisited the # of games to needed. In the 2018 season coaches discussed the eligibility being 1/2 of games. After discussion the group compromised at 1/2 minus 2 for the first year. With the understanding that we'd look to move to 1/2 this season. That was discussed at the board meeting and brought up for discussion at the coaches meeting last night. After a vote the group landed on eligibility in 2019 being 1/2 of the games for both divisions. This will provide consistency season after season for BOTH divisions.

This will will be strictly enforced this season. The plan is to post updates regularly throughout the season.
By laws - every coach will be provided a copy of the bylaws, asked to be familiar with them and sign-off at a future league meeting that they reviewed the by-laws
Umpires: Their role governing the game, including issuing warning, handling ejections and reinforcing the rule regarding language and alcohol in the dug-outs. This includes players and fans. No alcoholic beverages are allowed past the steps. The ONLY exception is Heels.
Home-run rule: stays the same; 3 home runs and then 2 up until 6. the home-team can not go 1 up in the 7th inning.
Season start: stays the same. A will play 32 games and start in April. B will play 24 games and start in May. Jimmy C. is handling the schedule for us again (thanks Jimmy)!
Finally, all rules apply to the league - both divisions. The rules will be applied consistently for both A and B divisions. We are one league!!
In general, the board agreed to keep rules as consistent as possible. The only change for the 2019 season is the eligibility requirement of 1/2 (50%) of games. Everything else stays the same as last season. `
