MVP - Alex Giordano, Swing Mafia (11-14, .786, 5 HRs)
Highlights
Swing Mafia went 107-145 (.740) as a team and hit 14 HRs. They scored 74 runs in 4 games and gave up only 17 runs, including 2 Shutouts. Sammy Mohl came through with the clutch 2-out, walk off 3-run homer that gave Swing Mafia the Championship game victory 14-13, thus avoiding the "if" game. Alex Giordano was named the Tournament MVP as he batted .786 and led the tournament with 5 HRs. Ryan Dolga played great defense as usual at Shortstop and batted .813. This was a total team effort by Smitty and his crew. Congrats on a fun day.

Depaul's: They had to forfeit the loser's bracket final as multiple players had to leave by 3:30, so Villanova was awarded a 7-0 forfeit victory. Ryan Piercy (12-16, .750, 4 HRs and 2 2Bs), Chris Carter (9-12, .750, HR, 2B), David Douglass (12-17, .706, HR, 3B, 2 2Bs), The Always entertaining and GREAT player, Jay Ehrhart, Sr. (10-15, .667, 2 HRs, 2 2Bs)
GOATSville - Joe Jordan (4 HRs and 2 Doubles), Phil Kelly and Bill Leighton also had at least 2 HRs. Josh Kennedy put together a nice team as he also hit well, but wouldn't list himself. I saw Billy Kohler hit some seeds as well.
Harry's Tap Room: Eddie Skilton (HR), Brian Fields (6-9, .667), Darrin Stackhouse (HR), Brian Sjostrum (HR). And they stayed till the end enjoying their favorite beverages.
Thanks to everyone for a fun day. We will try to do this again one weekend in May when teams are available. I want to thank Heels for helping as ALWAYS, Joe Fabrizio for providing umpires and Butch Fisher for staying around in case we had an "if" game as he was going to volunteer his time to umpire and make it a 2-umpire game.
