What I remember of him was always of a suave, businessman father type. Always frustrated at his daughter's antics and, of course, with Our Miss Brooks. I think he had a low profile as an actor but did a lot of things.

I'd get his books for Rene' every month through the mail. Then each daughter after enjoyed those books too. You'd think I'd know them by heart as I'd read them over and over to each daughter.
