He surely brought a lot of joy and fun into my life.

I was in high school when it debuted. I don't remember it but I'm sure my parents watched it. They controlled the TV watching and I think I was off in my bedroom listening to the radio or writing in my diary. I can say that I've made up for those lost early years many times over since then.
