1928 Roddy McDowall – British-born actor (Planet of the Apes series, The Poseidon Adventure, The Longest Day, How Green was My Valley, My Friend Flicka, Lassie Come Home, Kidnapped, Cleopatra, That Darn Cat, The Martian Chronicles) He was evacuated to the US during the London Blitz, in World War II. He played The Bookworm in the Batman TV series.

He was great in everything he did. I can only think of one other Bookworm but Roddy was the vest by far.

Cassandra Peterson, famous as Elvira, was severely burned by boiling water at 18 months old, resulting in third-degree burns over 35% of her body. She underwent extensive skin graft surgeries and lived with permanent scarring. The experience led her to embrace the horror genre and create the Elvira persona to escape the self-consciousness she felt about her scars.
