He appeared on Broadway for ten years before making his film debut in 1922, as Professor Moriarty in the movie Sherlock Holmes

I love The Think Man series. I used to watch them on late-night TV back when I'd babysit as a teen.

I remember watching him on his news show and announcing he wouldn't be continuing that he had lung cancer. I remember how shocked I was. He was a staple back in those days.

She had such a wonderful voice. I loved The Mamas and the Papas, but she was great on her own.
