The Three Musketeers movie with Gene Kelly, Keenan Wynn, Van Heflin, etc. was the most fun movie. Kelly as D'Artagnan was super great.
(I'm prejudiced.) I never read the book and I'm sure there was a lot of "artistic license" done for the movie.
