There was one of his Chips places in Glendora, CA, where my other house is. It was the best. After he died, it closed. I don't know if it closed because he died, but they eventually put in another diner. I've never had as good a piece of fast-food fish since.

1982 Vic Morrow, age 63 – Actor (Combat!, The Blackboard Jungle, The Bad News Bears) He was the father of actress Jennifer Jason Leigh. He died along with two child actors when they were struck by a helicopter during the filming of Twilight Zone: The Movie

While reading the Harry Bosch novels, Vic Morrow was always who I pictured Bosh to resemble, not Titus Welliver, although Welliver has done an excellent job.
