1910 Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain), age 74 - US author

Connie and I (and our families) were at his birthplace in Hannibal Missouri. We toured the entire town and even took a riverboat ride on the Mississippi.







1996 Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder, age 76 - Infamous US oddsmaker

He was also in the movie Cannonball Run with Burt Reynolds. I believe his only scenes were with Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin but he kept reappearing through the movie as the odds on the race changed.
