Well, two emergencies and I was rescheduled to next Tuesday the 4th. I was there at 11:00 for the check-in and getting ready with IVs put in each arm. My surgery was scheduled for 1:45 and I was told there would be a delay as there was an emergency. So, when that was over two doctors came in and told me that even though it was late that they were going to go ahead instead of rescheduling me. As we were discussing it, another emergency came in and the nurse said I then had to reschedule as this emergency they would have to open the chest up on the patient and the surgery would be from 8 to 12 hours long.

So - here I am back home. The Schedular just called me to say it was going to be on Tuesday the 4th, but she would call me back to confirm after checking in with everyone else. So - here I wait. Rene' took a week off from work. Amy is coming in from Illinois on Monday the 3rd and we now have to coordinate everything again. I need to make sure my brother can watch Spencer, how to get me to Vegas, making hotel reservations again...GRRR! I told them I absolutely don't want to go through all the pre-op tests, X-rays, echos, etch. The only thing I'll have to do is bloodwork again, which is usually done the day before. The Schedular is trying to get it done on the same day as the surgery. I certainly hope so.

I'm too old for this stress!

Also, Amy is flying into Las Vegas (the closest internation airport to me) so hopefully I can get my brother to drive me the 2 hours to Vegas. It's such a mess!
