HB, where my house is in Glendora, CA, LA County, it is maybe 25 miles or so from the fires. A friend of Amy's said the air was horrible even there because of the fires. I am so glad I'm not there anymore. Glendora is right at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. There was a horrible fire in the mountains while I still lived there, and it came down into the foothills. When I went out to work the next morning my car and surrounding land was loaded with ash. The homes near and in the foothills were waiting to evacuate, I'm sure.

So far, so good here even though Arizona does get fires it's nothing like what is happening in SoCal.
