I've seen only Death on the Nile with Branagh as Poirot and I didn't like it. I can see where the younger generation might not have seen any of the other actors who portrayed Poirot would now have discovered this wonderful character, but his portrayal of him left me turned off.

I never thought much about the hoopla finding the right actress to portray Scarlett, but after reading the book I can see why she got the part. She was perfect.
