The pediatrician that I had with the 3 oldest said to put 1 cup of vinegar into the last rinse and that is what cured the diaper rash. I think it counteracted the ammonia that seemed to reek from the diapers. I also hung the diapers outside to dry and the sun kept them bleached white. I think that helped as well. Those were the days, huh?
