I've never heard this before and obviously I haven't read it each year that HB posts it. Wow! I'll bet Hearst did shoot him and his wealth and the way he always had Hollywood celebrities around him got it covered up. Big secrets were kept during that period. Not just with celebrities. To get my mom to admit to anything about dastardly deeds by her family (not killing) she was always mum. I'd hear rumors then ask her about it and she wouldn't say anything or just give a little minimum acknowledgement.
