What a career! I'm sure most of us have seen these movies. I wonder if the now generation has seen any. I've been encouraging my grandson Jake to learn who some of these old-time actors were and what they did. We were discussing scary movies and I told him about how scared I was watching the monster scenes in Forbidden Planet. I asked him if he knew who Walter Pidgeon was. He didn't know, of course, but I hope talking to him about some of those old movies he'll be interested enough to watch some of them and learn just who scared us half to death. Tame by today's standards, but what classics they became.

1930 Sherlock Holmes debuted on the radio. The program ran, with some interruptions, until 1956.

That must have been some popular radio show. I wonder if there are tapes of any of them.
