I always liked him. I don't think he got the acclaim he deserved.

2003 John Ritter - Actor (8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, Three's Company, Sling Blade) He was the son of singing-cowboy legend Tex Ritter. He died a week before his 55th birthday

His son, Jason Ritter, is in the new Matlock series with Kathy Bates. I think I'll check it out.

I still can't watch or see pictures of any of it. It is seared in my brain, and I am still disturbed.
