I think they were averaging between 80 and 90 mph although Chris wasn't traveling quite that fast. I'm sure there were ones who went faster and stayed out of the far left lane. He stayed in the right lane, which was for the slower traffic. I think you'd get in a serious crash if, even in the slow lane, you were traveling less than 70.
