Tuesdays he posts his episodes. This morning it was on clotted cream. He used a recipe from the 1600s then made scones from a 1910 cookbook. He made two kinds of cream, one without adding anything and the other adding rosewater and a little sugar from another recipe. He then gave the history of clotted cream, which he found was originally clouted cream.

He finally tasted both creams and you could tell he was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The one without additions he put a little strawberry jam on, like the Brits and the other without anything. He waw surprised about how nice the one with the sugar and rosewater was. Sweet bit not too sweet and said you really didn't need any jam with it.

If I was in better shape I'd like to give it a try. I have had clotted cream before, but store bought. I liked it.
