He sure did ring a bell, but I had to look up his picture. I remember him from early TV and recognized him as a young actor in some of the old movies I used to watch on late night TV. He certainly had a long career and succeeded in both media.

When it was re-issued in the 1960s, we took Rene' and Alicia to the drive-in to see it. I remember Rene' crying when Bambi's mother got shot. Alicia was too young - I think she was asleep by then anyway.
