One of my recurring dreams is getting into elevators (which I don't like when awake!). I'm what they call a lucid dreamer - meaning I know I'm dreaming. The elevators are different, but it's always - I know I shouldn't go in because it will get stuck or go somewhere weird. Sometimes I get in & it does - so I just wake up. I have no idea what it all means.
