Ok, if anyone remembers, I posted a long time ago, WHY ASSCAR made so many road races. It was the Year that baby Chase was kinda new and was already the nascar pet, and he won both Sonoma and the GLEN races.
Remember a yr or so earlier Asscar was going to do away with Sonoma and Watkins Glen, and all of a sudden, Elliott wins both races and the next Yr or the one after, Nascar started with 7 road course races, including Charlotte and Indy.
You may not believe it but it was all about Chase and HMS being in the spotlight.
Think about it and tell me that is not what happened. Remember, Asscar was going to drop the Road races until then.
