These announcers today were saying things that were incorrect about Martin Truex Jr.. It was not Junior or Burton, might have been Latart not positive. Here is what they said that is not correct. First, kept saying New Hampshire is Martin's home track. However I would say his early racing career home track was Wall Stadium in New Jersey. His father raced there and his brother Ryan too. Makes more sense to say his home track in NASCAR would be Dover since it is closer to Jersey than New Hampshire is. Yes, he may have spent a lot of time watching Martin Truex Sr. race in the Busch North series at New Hampshire but that doesn't make NHMS Martin Jr.'s home track.

Here's another that is totally incorrect. Whoever said as they handed the lobster to Martin that he spent a lot of time on his father's fishing boats in New Hampshire pulling in lobsters. His father's boats and companies are located off the Jersey shore. They may have caught some lobsters but not like in Maine. Why the heck is a lobster something that they started giving the winner when there isn't hardly any shoreline in New Hampshire. Maine yes, but not New Hampshire.

Ok, here's another. They kept saying that both Logano and Truex are New Englanders. Yes, Logano is since he is from Connecticut. Martin is from Jersey and I learned in school that Jersey is not a New England state. It's a Middle Atlantic state.

I'd rather hear silence than have to hear things that they feel like they have to be talking instead of just shutting up.

Ok, I'm done complaining. Just wish they knew the facts.
