Joey Boy!!!!! #22 was fast after those tires heated up, not sure yet what I think overall about the race, all that BULL**** at the break on lap 75 was sickening, I can TOTALLY do WITHOUT that rap crap, yes I changed the channel until that no talent garbage was finished

I knew you would be happy your guy won. Glad it wasn't KB that's for sure. As for this race if we can call it one with all the pandering to a select group of individuals that was obviously not there, that took away from the purpose of the Clash.
Daytona will tell us how well or BAD this car works, safety, mechanical failure and durability. We shall see.
I posted this response below in another post about this Hollywood Show...LOL
After seeing it, it's very clear they are catering to a new generation who have NO clue or interest in NASCAR as well as every effort to get select ethnic interests in the sport. Larson was the 2021 Champion yet, their big Placard Headliner advertising for the Coliseum had pitcures of Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace and I forgot the third one. Yes, Chase MPD so can accept that BUT Wallace an average 25th or less scoring driver is constantly put up front, "in your face" interviews, TV time, Bill Boards and I've had enough of that in your face crap. No doubt this was a "concert" with a little racing to get people in the stands. More time was spent on the concert efforts than on actual racing. Stop the actual race for a "Halftime" Concert Show? Are you serious?? Did the cars need parts replaced, drivers need a snack or diaper change? LOL
Had it been just racing then I would have a different opinion but didn't care for the format or how it was promoted. JMHOMy "2022" saying is: "Be Blessed each day we are given, tomorrow isn't promised" **Praying daily for all my Posse family here**

I responded to You on the other thread Beth, and I forgot one thing. If Asscar gets its way, and the FACE of fans change, who is gonna foot the bill for the tickets, food and drink, and the $400.00 a night hotel / motel bills?? I guess Asscar will pick up the tab to make sure the stands are full. JMHO, but I am going by history of other times and events in the past.

My answer on your question. Any bets the "sponsor groups" that shuttle newbies to the track pays for these trips, food, hotels and etc.? I know they talked about and showed a couple groups that were invited to the race yesterday. Who paid for those trips and costs? You can bet the race tickets were inclusive in that NASCAR deal package or donated by NASCAR. They think we are stupid.....NOT! Hope Daytona will be a good race and not another production event to appease new fans who could care less. If it's free, they will take it. If it costs what we've paid then you can betcha they don't bite. Local short tracks are getting more fans as NASCAR loses them.
