You are going to be in for a couple of bad weather days! We are included in the warning also, but they are not saying how much snow yet. Our weather will start going downhill Sunday evening. That's always concerning when they don't really say how much they think we might get. But then we may not get anything at all. We figured it was just a matter of time when we would be in for it. Stay safe

had early snow with dusting then changed over to sleet and freezing rain for a few hours icing sidewalks, cars and tree branches. Then temps rose to about 32 and rained for about 6 hours. The ground is so saturated but grateful I never lost power. Another storm is coming in a few days and not looking forward to it. Cold blast of arctic air for several days and heavy freezes. Praying for an early spring. I need it bad! Be safe everyone, love you.

the area we are in could get up to 12-15" or on the low side 1-3" We started getting snow around 4:30. So far only about an inch or so but I hear ice pellets hitting my living room window of and on. The bulk of the snow isn't supposed to happen until tomorrow morning. We'll see. If we lose power, we do have our cabin with our wood burner. We've had scares before, and it's passed us by, so we'll just have to wait and see. I worry about our saltwater fish. We don't have a generator to keep the temperature warm enough for them. They are our babies! I know we can take care of us but they are at the mercy of the elements.

Gale is right. Batten down. If You have a fireplace make sure You have plenty wood to keep warm in case of power outage. Have plenty of water and snack foods too. Those that are use to the snow have already done this, but there are many that are not use to it. Stay off the roads if You can and be safe.
