I just keep getting the same stuff saying user name not available, and I don't know what else to do, except next year for the contest, someone send me an email with the lineup and I will email it back to them.
It's been real and its been fun for the last 20 years, but I am getting to damn old to have to go through a headache to be in touch with my POSSE brothers and sisters.

Pappy,Lang and Shiprek, see Mary Kay's NEW "Hi everyone" post she made today. This board will stay as will Alfs's race picks board. We can avoid those ads by keeping payment up to date. Yeah, we will stay here and keep this Posse Family going.

Alf will continue to have me post for her on home page and she can read all posts/comments, just can't post. She said if things go south here we can still use her Race Picks page she has. So we are good to go. JrFans stays. Thanks MK, Alf and all for your effort. Know it's been stressful.

Best news I have heard in a loooooooooooooong time. Great news. Now we have to work to get ALF back in.

Alf has tried everything. Maybe she can post on her race board here?

Trying to think how Alf can post. Maybe post her comments on her Race Board and let me know and I can post them here for her to read comments. That would work until they can figure out things. I wonder IF we had a NEW person want to sign up would they be able to do so??? Maybe try to sign up/register a new log in and pw with a new name, different email and PW??

First let me say that we are not getting any younger and now more than ever we need our Posse. After looking at the new board and it's issues I have suggested we KEEP this Jrfans Board and keep payments up to date to AVOID the ads that pop up when payment is due or needed. I realize Alf cannot get in here but if she doesn't mind and I can continue posting anything she wants to say for her while she still has her own access to our race picks board, then we stay here together.

I think we all can agree that one those Ads were gone things were back to normal, with exception of Alf not being able to sign in BUT she can read everything, just can't comment. What you say Pappy?? Others, your thoughts as well.

Per my discussion with Alf this morning about the 'New Board".

Exactly what you posted is the same thing I found when trying to set up. Because it said ALF was already taken I clicked on reset password and it sent a temporary password to my email. I did that and it got me signed in. When I just clicked on run board bookmark it shows ALF88 up at top. Only thing I can’t figure out is how and where you click to start a post. I see the word comment and that works.

I don’t think I ever had 88 with my name. If I am right I had just ALF but it always let me use ALF/Carol. I just made a comment on one of mk’s posts and it worked. I just don’t see how to start a new post yet.

MK, on the new board, do we need to set up a log in and PW/register? I see your posts. I just tried to set up my User ID per format requiring name, email, DOB and I'm not a robot. This message is at top of the page: Welcome to Runboard! Your global user account will work on all Runboard forums.
BUT, it's just a general message! I saw above that up top this message after I tried sign up/

***login: This user name already exists. Please choose another one, or add a digit at the end.

Available user name suggestion: bethnj5

I didn't go any further so at this point I'm not in yet.

However, I see a Log in and PW up top right and it's showing ......'s for PW and I've not even set one yet.

Just asking as I think that may be why others can't get in? Maybe they are thinking they can just post with our old Jrfans Names and PW? Sorry to be a PITA but I'm easily confused.

Alf have you or anyone else tried to get in??
