Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. If traveling, be safe and watch out for the idiots on the road...LOL So, what's everyone doing?
I'm reflecting back on the past Thanksgiving gatherings with family and friends and the food comas many of us had. So many great times and wonderful memories. What's the biggest crowd you cooked for? In the mid 80's I cooked for the entire family on both sides with kids and cousins as well. Had about 35-40 people in my house and cooked for hours but it was so worth it. Table was set with my fine china, crystal, silverware and grateful for that great memory. It's not that way anymore, sadly. Lots of cheer was had, laughter and it even snowed!! I'll focus on those great memories of times past as I stay home and reflect.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Family. Love you all. My "2022" saying is: "Be Blessed each day we are given, tomorrow isn't promised" **Praying daily for all my Posse family here**
Happy Thanksgiving sissy! I used to cook for the Dahlen’s and the Easton’s. Todd and Travis’s Dad was an Easton. I loved it! Well worth it. Today I and going to binge on my taped Law and Order’s, and football. Just me and my JayJay.
wow, that's a great memory! I remember our Smith family gatherings where we had 30-40 people gathering in the family room of my in laws house or in the dining room upstairs. I am cooking for Tom and I tomorrow. Turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, and green bean casserole. I made pumpkin pies this evening. We are going to take our dinner down to the cabin on our property and enjoy the cabin tomorrow. Nice, quiet day. Happy Thanksgiving to all here !
