Beth, Alf and anyone else that was in the path of Elsa, please let us know how you are doing. I know Alf has not been able to get on the board, and hope that she gets back soon. I will email her and let Y'all know.

Got an email from ALF and she said they are fine up there is New Jersey. They had some rain and wind, but outer banks and NYC got lots of the storm. Glad everyone is ok from ELSA.
I know if we have a hurricane here we are in serious trouble, as it has rain constantly for about two months now at the first sign of wind is going to uproot one hell of a lot of trees. Hope we get some sunshine here, real soon.

Thanks Pappy, glad Alf didn't get things too bad. I hear ya on the rain. Seems almost everything that comes from the Atlantic to the tip of FL and goes into Gulf side, it turns north east and comes back to the east coast. We need a few days to dry out as well. Hi Pappy. Else came through here in Raleigh right in the middle of the cone but fortunately no toornadoes. We had about 5"+ inches of rain, some wind gusts but didn't lose power and actually lucked out, consisering what it could have been. NOW, yesterday long after Elsa had moved out we had severe thunder storm warnings yesterday afternoon and man did it hit. It was WORSE than ELSE and had nothing to do with her. Another 3"+ inches of heavy rain, wind gusts and in some areas trees down and power outages. I was lucky didn't lose power but getting 8+ inches of rain in 24 hr period the ground is heavily saturated. Worried about falling trees and possibly more storms this afternoon again. Yesterday before the storm hit a large tree fell from a neighbors (not my neighborhood) on a home and took out half the upstairs. Then another tree in same neighborhood came down on their neighbors house. Some local flooding but not in my neighborhood. Accidents from idiots driving too fast killed 4 in same family yesterday. They hit water on interstate, crossed over medium into path of a tractor trailer. Just sad and unnecessary loss.
Thanks for asking, I'm good and so far blessed with no damage other than branches all over the place, gutters clogged and yard a swamp...LOL Gutter were scheduled for cleaning for next sat., a week too late.
