Sissy MK posted on FB today that she was at ER because she had fallen in the middle of the night and broke her ankle, a toe and a bone in her foot. haven't heard anymore from her but will let you know if I hear more. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery. She was to see a doctor about the headaches so don't know where that is right now. Bless her heart. What else can happen to that sweet lady. She has been through the wringer the last few years. I will keep the prayers and good vibes headed her way. Let her know how much we ALL love her. Keep us posted Beth.
***Copied this from MK's post on FB and her UPDATE on her injuries from her fall. Prayers for a speedy recovery sissy. Love you.
***Per MK: I’m the most blessed person in the world. Thank all of you for the prayers and good wishes. The nurse who diagnosed me was wrong. What I have is a severe sprain with torn ligaments. They wrapped it and I have to stay off it for 6-8 weeks. I did break 2 toes. I have been knocked out about all day. I am a sleep walker and last night I woke up on my way somewhere and thought I was falling. So I started “correcting”. I had a bad fall. Hurt my neck as well. It could have been worse! Again, thank you all for the love. Time for the ice pack.My "2022" saying is: "Be Blessed each day we are given, tomorrow isn't promised" **Praying daily for all my Posse family here**
Oh no !!! Poor thing Prayers being sent right now to her. What more can happen until this awful nightmare of a year is over ! My neighbor who lives across the street in Tom's dad's house told me this morning that her husband went out early Christmas morning to feed the chickens and fell on the ice. No one knew he got up that early since he was trying to do it for them as a favor so they wouldn't have to go outside and he fell on their driveway which was a sheet of ice. It turned really cold and we got a LOT of snow Christmas Eve. It could have turned out even worse if he couldn't have got into the house , He could have froze to death ! He couldn't get up so he CRAWLED from the drive and into the house where he yelled for help.. His knee is really bad. Of course, since it was late Christmas Eve and early Christmas morning they couldn't get the doctor d/t them being unable to be reached. The answering service told them to go to a Orthopedic hospital in the area but they found out he couldn't go there since it wasn't in his plan. They asked if he should go to the hospital ( I told them YES he should go), but he hasn't gone yet. The hospital told him if he did come that he would only be allowed in since the Covid is bad in our area. I see that their porch light is on tonight so I hope they got him in the car and to the hospital. He is on disability for his legs and he was due to start some type of procedure on them in Feb. so now he's got this to deal with. Please keep him in your prayers also. They bought Tom's dad's house and since they moved in it's almost like they are family. Judy has become my best friend and they were there for us when Tom was sick with his cancer . I hate this for them . It appears that 2020 still has some punches to land on all of us.
Hate your neighbor fell on ice and got hurt. Praying he's not hurt too bad and gets better quickly. It's hard on everyone when you get hurt. Prayers going up for him and the family. My "2022" saying is: "Be Blessed each day we are given, tomorrow isn't promised" **Praying daily for all my Posse family here**
