Have you got your power back on yet? Did any of you have damage to your homes or neighborhoods?

Just got power back and hoping for a good nights sleep for a change. I am worn out trying to get the yard back in shape and still have weeks of tree limbs, trees themselves, and all other remnants of a hurricane in the yard to get rid of. I can only do so much then the back goes out. A little at a time and may have it cleaned by the time the next hurricane season comes around. LOL

Glad you have power back but hate you have so many trees down and so much work to do. Hope some of the neighbors and younger ones can help you out. Know it's hard on you and you need to take care of your body. I feel bad for you all. Praying you can get some help with the clean up.

I just talked to Pap and he has no power, lots of trees down but no damage to home. The rest of us are okay with some damage. We survived another one. Damn it! Mainly shingles gone, trees down but we are alive. Will keep y'all posted. Thanks for being concerned for our Gang.

I know Ship posted on FB he was a mess and Lang posted much the same. Haven't seen pappy post anything. Lang got his power back yesterday and said he hadn't talked with Pappy.

Hope they will check in soon and give us an update. Pray they didn't have too much damage and have power back by now.

I hope they're all ok. And now I see there is another one forming in the Carribean??? I hope it doesn't get worse.
Today is my first -born grandchild's birthday. He's 24 !! Tom and I are getting so old. I remember that evening when he was born so vividly. Doesn't seem possible .. Old age comes so quickly and grabs you in it's grip. I'm not in the ground yet but it's scary how fast it creeps up on you.
