2021 NASCAR Season? Your thoughts?

2021 Season now has 6 Road Course races on the schedule. Lots of tracks losing races or none at all. Many changes including drivers and teams.

Bowman going to the 48 of Johnson and no word on who if anyone will fill the 88. SHR Bowyer leaving and becoming an announcer. That should be fun as he's a mess anyhow. Who will fill the seat of 14 car? Jones looking for a ride and others wanting an opportunity. New low budget teams starting up. Hamlin and Jordan starting team for Baby Wallace. Silly Season is here. What are everyone's thoughts?

I guess the worst thing that happened to me was mom dying on St Patrick's Day in March and the start of Ohio's stay at home orders... the funeral was surreal, so was the graveside service and our service only had me, Tom, my son Mark and his wife Moriah, Mark Jr and Nicole in attendance.
No family get togethers and the Smith's are a close knit family ... very hard to take.
Also, haven't seen my soon to be 93 yr old aunt since Jan.. but there is some good news on that front. I will be able to visit Thursday for the 1st time since the beginning of the year. I call and talk to her but it's just not the same as seeing her in person.. so I will see her Thursday for a limited visit of a 1/2 hour but it's a start. Her own son doesn't even call her ! I told her today some day he might wish he could talk to her. I miss my mom every day.
I just hope and pray 2021 is the start of a better year and some return to normalcy. Time will tell.
Still waiting for the special person who wants to buy my mom's house. It will be so nice not to have that over my head !! I hope it's sold before the end of this horrible year !!!

I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. The only reason we watch a race anymore is if there is nothing else on. Besides all the other bad changes NASCAR has made over the years, the Baby Bubba and Black Lives Matters garbage has done it for us. Then next year’s schedule came out and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Dale and I still love our football. He is a big Packers fan and I love the Panthers. We both love the Saints. So we watch football on Sundays now. Pretty much done with what pap calls ASSCAR.

I use to enjoy football when the "Redskins" were hot and beyond ads it was my home team. I never got into the Panthers because of my Skins. After the BLM and the push for kneeling to our flag and our anthem I refuse to watch football. Once Blubba pulled the stunt and brought in BLM into Racecar as I call it, that pushed me away. Once the Blubba media tour settled down I will watch some of the races. Not all of it but need a little bit of listening to Dale, Jr and a handful of drivers, JJ's last year, and not a good one. Sad, so many changes and sick of the ANTIFA, BLM push by businesses and sports that support ruining this country. Mt dad fought war to keep it out of this country. So did millions of our veterans. It's a slap in their faces. Sports were our out from things, not anymore.

Even though my driver has had a good year and is looking for the championship, I have not watched a complete race this year. Sometimes I just wait until there is twenty laps or so to go. Some of the announcers are so damn boring with their break down of the race or a wreck. Plus some of the crap NASCAR has pulled along with all kinds of crap that should not even be in racing. I am like most of y'all, I came here to race and race only so I hope next year will be better for all of us! BUT I will holler GEAUX HARVICK all day long.

Yes, Harvick has had a good year but this season went down hill with the absurd moves NASCAR did and made it political. That's the management and it's costing the sport big time. JMHO

I watch some but not all. I use to record but not anymore. Not the sport we all loved.

As far as this season. It sucked. Sorry but that is what it is. I don't hardly watch any of it anymore.
As far as the 2021 schedule goes!! What do you expect. Chase Elliott is the new "Golden Boy" for Nascar. He took Gordon's place along the way, and everything is being put in place to assure a championship. He is the best at road Courses so it fits. A few years ago, Nascar was trying to do away with road courses. Why do You think all of a sudden they are in high demand?
Am glad Darlington is getting another race, but Dover losing one stinks. Losing KY also stinks. Chicagoland was a no brainer.
Glad to see Clint going to Fox in the booth. Baby bubba will not make new friends at all, and Nascar will Lose a lot more fans.
Well, I guess that is all for now. Off course this is JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION

well said pappy. Agree with you on most of your comments. Can't wait to see if the fill the stands with those they are hoping for. Maybe they can put tracks in the hoods and see how long before they are trashed, burned, murdered in the stands. Just saying, one man can't carry a new fan base to fill the stands. If anything, they convinced those loyal ones of selling their season tickets, and cancelling any future race trips. Sports has become a joke. Not watching any. Screw them all. JMHO
