The storm is over and we really dodged a big bullet. The last day was wild. The storm started turning north and then we were on the west side of it and not the east which is t he bad side.
Got up this morning and surveyed the yard and everything was ok, except for tree limbs and other stuff that blew around.

Beth, You need to get prepared for some rain as it is on the way to You. At least You won't have the hurricane winds.

Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes gang, they really helped.

I'll say this! We were lucky! That storm would have done some very bad damage. Not saying it hasn't destroyed a whole lot of peoples lives but we are lucky it moved to the east. Prayers for all the people who had to experience this storm.

So glad you all were spared Lang. The damage pictures we are seeing today along AL and FL Coasts are terrible. It's coming through me now and steady rain but no winds as of yet. Praying it moves out fast. Now moving 6 mph....LOL

Thanks for letting us know pappy. So glad it moved more East and didn't become a direct hit to you all. How much rain did you get? Poor Alabama and Pensacola, FL got hammered. Moving inland and moving east now is going to cause lots of flooding. So glad you're safe and it's passed now. Those Posse prayers worked!

we are expecting anywhere from 3-6" of rain and under flood watch already. We are also under watch fr tornadoes which caused so much damage from the last one we got hit with. NC has been hit hard this year and it's not over yet.

I didn't get but one little shower that lasted about two minutes. We were suppose to get 8-12" when it was coming here but got zilch. I hope it rains out before it gets to You Bethie. We keep You in my No Rain prayers.

So glad that is spared you all. So much damage in Alabama and FL Coast areas. It's very humid here and some rains on and off throughout the night. Now it's getting steady rain but light. Calm before the storm I guess. I'm more worried about the possibility of tornadoes. Praying we don't lose power and have no damage.

Just stay hunkered down and the rain will pass. Keep an eye on the weather channel, so if You get into Tornado warnings You will know it. Stay safe and let us know when it passes.

It's been raining all day but not expected to move out until later tonight or in morning. Still expecting storms and some tornado warning in NC but so far not in my area but it's still moving in.I'm thinking we should be alright, sure hope so.
