I read on Jayski that Chicago wanted another race, but not on the 4th weekend, which is one of the hottest spots to go to on the 4th, which made it hard on the locals when a lot of the areas were cut off because of it. They said they would love it if they could get a later date.
It also said that the were looking open chicagoland raceway again as it is a France owned track.
I for one would never go there is this day and time. Was stationed there in the 60;s and it was a great town.
