It was getting in somewhere and so he started going around the outside with concrete and rocks and every time he thinks he's got it all fixed it seems to find another way in. The other night he went out and found a skunk in the chicken coop and it was trapped in since he had used the concrete and rocks outside the coop and then it was trying to get out! It was trapped in there. SO Tom went out with his gun and shot it, put it in a pail and he buried it. Then Later on that evening, I started smelling skunk on my clothes and I wasn't even near it while Tom buried it. I guess the wind had shifted it to me and everything I had on had to come off. Then Tom came downstairs with his clothes too so we ended up throwing them on the deck until I could wash them. Our barn had a horrible smell inside. It smelled like burnt cabbage! I had never smelled anything like it. I think it was frustrated it couldn't get out and it started farting or something. LOL!!!
The crazy chickens just sat on the ledge while Tom shot it. SO glad it didn't go after them.
Thought we had the problem solved and then our neighbor said he saw one go in the big barn door. So, Tom got more concrete and worked on more spots around the outside of the barn. He almost has it all covered unless they have dug a tunnel into the barn. Wouldn't surprise me! SO that's what's been going on around here.
Glad theraces are back on cable for a while.
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. It's so horrible about that flood in Texas Lots of prayers for them.
